Coco Beach Bonfire Body Butter is a savior for those who suffer from dry skin. Organic Fair-trade Coconut Oil provides protection to the skin with antioxidants and fatty acids that soften and hydrate. Unrefined Organic Fair-trade Cocoa Butter contains natural polyphenols, phytosterols, and Vitamin E that help protect and keep skin supple. MCT Oil is light, softening, and smoothing without being greasy. Fair-Trade Babassu Oil helps renew and soften skin. Soothing ingredients like Allantoin, Vitamin E, and Licorice Root Extract help calm irritated skin.

Coconut Beach Bonfire Body Butter has a base scent that comes from organic, fair-trade toasted coconut oil & the fair trade unrefined cocoa butter. A hint of coconut and pineapple fragrance is blended with base notes of natural vanilla & sandalwood absolutes. No colors were added.

Please Note: Some of the butters in the formula can cause/aggravate acne if used in areas where you are prone to breakouts and should be used only where breakouts do not occur.

Hero ingredients:

* MCT Oil: light, softening, and hydrating without being greasy.

* Babassu Oil: A more sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative to palm oil, this oil feels smooth on the skin and moisturizes even the driest skin well thanks to the high lauric acid that it has.

* Cocoa Butter: Filled with polyphenols, phytosterols, and Vitamin E.

* Allantoin: Soothing ingredient, perfect for easily-irritated skin.

* Glycerin: An excellent humectant that draws water to the skin.

* Licorice Root Extract: Has been shown to help brighten and soothe skin.

What is a Body Butter?

“Body butter” is a term used to define a body product that is thicker than a cream lending to a butter-like consistency, and/or a body cream that uses high amounts of plant butters in the formula.

How to use body butter

Patch test for allergies on the inner arm. If any irritation occurs, please discontinue use and contact your doctor. Do not apply to irritated or compromised scalp or skin, such as over a wound.

For best results, apply to damp skin. This helps trap water in the skin, as body butters form layers of protection that trap water and prevent trans-epidermal water loss (water that evaporates from the skin). Damp skin also allows for a smoother application with less product required, saving you money!

Storage

My body butters are emulsified which decreases the chance of the product melting, however direct sunlight coming through a window and hot cars in summer are still forces to be reckoned with. For the best results, store in an area that does not reach above 75 F  (25 C) and is safe from direct sunlight.

I buy fair-trade and organic when possible. I reuse materials in packaging and shipping. I only use cruelty-free beeswax and organic cruelty-free lanolin if the ingredient is present in the item being sold.
